Privacy policy
OSM Navigator doesn't transmit and store any information about you, except in one case: the "Position Sharing" feature.
When you explicitely activate "Position Sharing" feature, following information is stored on our server:
- A unique identifier (the Secure.ANDROID_ID)
- The nickname and group name you choose
- Your current exact geolocation, which is regularly updated as long as you keep "Position Sharing" activated
- And the date&time of the latest geolocation update.
As soon as you stop "Position Sharing", your geolocation is immediately deleted.
Remaining user data are completely deleted 10 days after your latest connexion.
These information are not transmitted to anybody, except to others users sharing your group name.
In other words, confidentiality of your position sharing is as strong as the group name you choose.
Note that group names starting with a "#" are considered as "public" groups and can be advertised on NooTous application.
